Eastern Oregon Mobile Service (EOMS) is a small, family-owned and operated mobile mechanic based in La Grande, Oregon, proudly serving Union County and surrounding Eastern Oregon communities. With over 15 years of experience, we're here to help get your vehicles and equipment running smoothly—so you can get back to your day with confidence. We officially opened on January 1st, 2026, and we’re excited to bring our experience and convenient mobile service to the community.

Multi-Generation Experience

Our story is rooted in family and experience passed down through generations. The owner and primary mechanic began working on all kinds of vehicles and equipment as a kid, learning skills alongside his grandfather and developing a strong foundation built on patience, problem-solving, and pride in doing the job right. He later went on to work with his father, maintaining and repairing heavy equipment in demanding, real-world conditions where reliability and efficiency were crucial.

Agricultural & Equipment Expertise

From there, our primary mechanic gained specialized experience working on tractors and equipment at a local dealer, and later for a local farmer, expanding his skills further to include implements, light- and medium-duty trucks, and a wider range of agricultural equipment. This multi-generation background shapes how we operate today—honest, practical, and committed to quality work.

Built From Real Frustration

The inspiration for starting Eastern Oregon Mobile Service came from a challenge we know all too well. When our own vehicle broke down, we discovered a local service center couldn’t even look at it for three weeks—not including ordering parts or starting any repairs. Going without a car for a month just wasn’t possible, and with some dealerships no longer offering rental cars, we felt the stress firsthand. That experience inspired us to create a service that puts customers first and brings repairs directly to them.

Fully Mobile & Fast

That’s another thing that sets us apart: we’re fully mobile. We come right to you—whether you’re at home, at work, or stuck on the side of the road. We’re always available, and we work hard to keep wait times short, often responding to non-emergency calls the same day. Because we know repairs can be an unexpected financial burden for many, we are currently working to offer financing options to help make them more manageable for our customers.
